Ang katanungang ito ay may kaugnayan sa kalikasan ng Diyos bilang Espiritu (#9). Walang katawan ang Diyos di tulad ng tao kaya hindi natin siya nakikita. Malinaw ang sinabi ng Bibliya na walang sinumang nakakita sa Diyos.
Kailangan ding ipaunawa sa mga bata na sa Lumang Tipan ng Bibliya may mga tinatawag na ‘theophany’, ito ay natatanging pagpapakita ng presensya ng Diyos sa mga anyo upang abutin ang pang-unawa ng tao at tumugon sa pangangailangan ng tao (Gen 12:17, 15:17, Exodus 24:17, at Num 23:4 – maaaring ipabasa ito sa mga bata). Hindi ibig sabihin nito na may mga bahagi ang Diyos o mga bahagi ito ng Kanyang kalikasan.
Maaari ding itanong ng mga bata na, “paano naman si Hesus?” Kung Siya ay Diyos ibig bang sabihin nakita na natin ang Diyos. Bigyang-diin na sa si Hesus ay nagkatawang-tao kaya nakita natin Siya. Siya ay Diyos at tao. Hindi natin makikita ang kalikasan o ‘essence’ ng Diyos.
Ito rin ay dapat na magdulot sa mga bata ng maingat na pamumuhay gaya ng binanggit sa naunang tanong na nakikita ng Diyos ang lahat ng kanilang ginagawa. Nararapat na sila rin ay magbigay papuri at sumunod sa mga utos ng Diyos saan man sila naroon sa pamamagitan ng biyaya lamang na na kay Hesu-Kristo.

Q.12. Can you see God?
A. No. I cannot see God, but He always sees me. (Jn 1:18a; Jer 23:24a)
No one has ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Father’s side, he has made him known.
John 1:18 ESV
This question relates to the nature of God as Spirit (#9). God does not have a body unlike man, so we cannot see Him. The Bible clearly states that no one has seen God.
Children also need to understand that in the Old Testament of the Bible there are Theophanies. These are unique manifestations of God’s presence in different forms to reach human understanding and respond to human need (Ge 12:17, 15:17, Exodus 24:17, and Num 23: 4 – have the children read these passages). But these do not mean that God has parts or that these Theophanies are parts of His nature.
Children might also ask, “What about Jesus?” If He is God does that mean we have seen God? Emphasize that Jesus is God in the flesh. He became incarnate so that we can see Him. He is the God-man. But we cannot see the nature or essence of God.
It should also lead the children to live carefully as mentioned in the previous question that God sees everything they do. They should also give praise and obey the commandments of God wherever they are through the grace alone that is in Jesus Christ.
