A. Ang poot at sumpa ng Diyos.
Nalalaman nila ang mga iniuutos ng Diyos, na ang mga gumagawa ng gayong mga bagay ay karapat-dapat sa kamatayan, ngunit hindi lamang nila ginagawa ang gayon kundi sinasangayunan pa ng gumagawa ng mga iyon.

Ang kasalanan ay hindi kaaya-aya sa Diyos. Hindi lang natin dapat katakutan ang kasalanan dahil tayo ay nasasaktan o nagdudulot ito ng kalungkutan, kundi dahil ito ay nagbubunsod ng poot at sumpa ng Diyos. Ang kasalanan, una sa lahat ay paghihimagsik laban sa banal ng Diyos. Ang Diyos ay may galit laban sa kasalanan at sa gumagawa ng kasalanan (Ps 5:4-5, 7:11-13).
Nararapat itong maunawaan ng mga bata nang sa gayon ay hindi nila balewalain ang utos at ang pagdidisiplina ng kanilang mga magulang. May mga ilang bata na hindi siniseryoso ang utos sa kanila o pinagagaan ang pagtatama ng kanilang mga ama at ina. Ngunit ang utos ay nagmula sa Diyos. Bawat pagsuway ay may kaparusahan, hindi mula sa tao kundi mula sa Matuwid na Hukom.
Gayunpaman, ipaunawa din sa mga bata na mabiyaya ang Diyos. Lahat ay nararapat sa poot at sumpa ng Diyos ngunit sa Kanyang awa, habag at pagtitiis, ay binibigyan niya lahat ng panahon at pagkakataon na magsisi sa kanilang kasalanan at magtiwala sa Ebanghelyo ng ating Panginoong Hesu-Kristo.

Q.33. What does every sin deserve?
A. The wrath and curse of God. (Rom 1:32; 6:23)
Though they know God’s righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.

Sin is not pleasing to God. We should not fear sin not only because it hurts us or it brings us sorrow, but because it incurs the wrath and curse of God. Sin, first of all, is rebellion against the holy God. God is angry with sin and the sinner (Ps 5: 4-5, 7: 11-13).
Children should understand this so that they will not disregard the command and discipline of their parents. There are some children who do not take their commands seriously or take lightly the correction of their fathers and mothers. But the command comes from God. Every disobedience has a punishment, not from man but from the Righteous Judge.
However, let the children know that God is gracious. Everyone deserves the wrath and curse of God but in His mercy, compassion, and patience, He gives all the time and opportunity to repent of their sins and trust in the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
