As believers, chosen and saved by grace through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is very clear that we are the visible proof of the gracious work of God, a work that is driven by the Gospel.

We have to understand that sa simula pa lamang we can see that we are undeserving of God’s mercy and grace because we are sinful in all our ways, our thoughts are sinful, our actions are sinful, our heart is sinful. That’s why the Bible is true, “We are dead because of our trespasses and sins.” “We don’t understand and we do not seek God.” (Eph. 2.1; Rom. 3:11) but because of God’s goodness and grace, he made a way for us to be saved and forgiven through the Gospel of Christ. Kaya napakalinaw na ipinakita sa atin ng Diyos na we don’t work for our salvation, it was given and granted to us by God through the Gospel; through faith in the work of Christ.

So, bilang tayo ay pinili at iniligtas ng Diyos and because we experienced the Gospel of God, He who called and saved us has given us work that will give glory to Him. Christ did not save us to sit idly as His second coming draws nearer, nais Niya na tayong kanyang mga iniligtas ay kumilos para ibahagi ang kaligatasang ipinagkaloob sa atin ng Diyos. That’s why, we have to be driven by the Gospel in our season of life.

Sharing and preaching the Gospel to others is a divine calling of God to all of us believers. It is a great privilege for us to become part of this amazing work for the glory of His name. This task or this calling is entrusted to us para ang mga taong hindi pa nakarinig at nakaranas ng kaligtasan at habag ng Diyos ay manampalataya kay Kristo na Siya’ng tumatawag at magliligtas sa kanila. And this is the reason why we need to be bold in preaching and proclaiming the Gospel; this is why we must be driven by the Gospel. Paul says, “How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believed in Him of whom they never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?” (Rom. 10:14) Ang pagliligtas ay sa kalooban ng Diyos, for He is the one who calls and saves through the Gospel for His own pleasure and glory, and we are the ones who preach the Gospel also for His Glory.

God is glorified if one person acknowledges his sin, repents, and believes in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and He is also gloried if His chosen people obey their calling by preaching the truth of the Gospel. So, let us not forget the work that was entrusted to us, a work to expand His Kingdom here on earth, a work that brings honor and glory to God.

Let us give God the honor and glory that He deserves. May we, who are called and saved by Christ, be driven by the Gospel that we have heard. “For God did not sent His son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him.” (John 3:17) God sent Jesus to us because it was the means by which He would redeem sinners; only through the person and work of Christ can anyone know, love, and enjoy the presence of the Lord. Hence, we ought to live in light of His work—the gospel.
