Siya'y hinamak at itinakuwil ng mga tao; isang taong nagdurusa, at sanay sa kalungkutan; at gaya ng isa na pinagkublihan ng mukha ng mga tao, siya'y hinamak, at hindi natin siya pinahalagahan. ~ Isaiah 53:3 ABAB
Kung ating ibubuod ang buhay ni Hesus sa mundo, ito ay ang buhay ng pagsunod. Mula umpisa hanggang kamatayan, ginawa Niya ang kalooban ng Ama ng walang pagkakamali. Hindi Niya alintana ang pagdurusa sa kamay ng mga tao at sa kamay ng Ama nang pasanin Niya ang ating mga kasalanan para gawin ang kalooban ng Ama.
Ang buhay ni Hesus bilang ganap na pagsunod sa Ama nawa ay hindi lamang maging halimbawa para sa ating mga anak. Hindi natin dapat na sabihin na sila din ay sumunod. Mahalaga man ito, pero hindi ito ang pangunahing kahulugan ng buhay ni Hesus. Sila ay makasalanan, hindi nila kayang sundin at gawin ang nais ng Ama, kaya naparito si Hesus para sa mga makasalanan na hindi kailanman nanaisin na magpasakop sa kalooban ng Ama.

Q.53. What kind of life did Christ live on earth?
A. A life of obedience, service, and suffering. (Isa 53:3)
He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief; and as one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. ~ Isaiah 53:3 ESV
If we summarize the life of Jesus on earth, it is the life of obedience. From beginning of his life on earth unto the point of His death, He did the will of the Father without fail. He despised the suffering at the hands of men and submitted to the hands of the Father when He bore our sins.
May the life of Jesus as perfect obedience to the Father not only be an example for our children. We should not say that they simply needed to follow His example. Obedience is important, but it is not the main point of Jesus’ life. They are sinners, they cannot obey and do the will of the Father, so Jesus came for sinners who will never want to submit to the will of the Father.
